Sounds like home

Maybe this world is another planet's hell. Or maybe I've been reading a little too much science-fiction lately. Either way, I just can't help myself from asking: how else could we explain what a dreaded place this world's become?

Lies.

Pain.

Hate.

Loneliness.

Tears.

Disloyalty.

Envy.

Fear.

Darkness.

Death.

Flames.

Hell.

How can anything else compensate for all these horrors? Do I hear an answer there in the back? Nope, just my imagination. Silence in the hall. Guess I'm back to my initial phrase. Maybe this world's another planet's hell. That's only fair, since it's nowhere near being called a paradise.
No, I'm not depressed or anything. It's just my usual self talking about the possibility of hell being on Earth. Oh, give me a break! I'm not suicidal either. Fuck, do I look like a kamikaze? Anyway, back on topic, what is a kind word compared to a rape? Or a smile compared to a murder? We can pretend to fool ourselves, but for how long? Just go on walking like everything is all pink and fluffy. Yeah, that's our idea of democracy - deluding ourselves.
No special message for those who read this. No warning to try and change something out there. No intention to make them save the world. We're already damned, all of us. So yeah, this is hell.
